We recently asked for donations from friends and website visitors to help us purchase a headstone for the babies of Billie Jean & Fred Mace. These two adorable children died within days of each other from polio, in 1933, shortly after Billie Jean returned from taking care of her sister Bonnie after she was badly burned in an auto accident. Their remains along with their aunt Bonnie's were moved from Fish Trap Cemetery in 1945 to Crown Hill Cemetery in Dallas. They were placed together in an unmarked grave at the foot of Bonnie's grave. Thanks to the generosity of our friends, website visitors and two very generous anonymous contributions, we were able to meet our goal. Not only did we make our goal, but we received enough donations that we were able to purchase a marker for Hubert "Buster" Parker, brother of Bonnie Parker who was buried in an unmarked grave at the foot of his mother Emma's grave. The markers were put into place Sept. 30, 2007. We thank you all for your generous contributions. We couldn't have done it without you.
